Material Information:
- MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses for its production. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Also, it does not absorb any moisture.
- PVC: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a polymer plastic. It is resistant to various conditions, including moisture, chemical corrosion, and abrasion. This durability makes it suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. PVC is recyclable and can be reused to produce new products, reducing environmental impact.
- Fabric: Fabric is a versatile material made by weaving, knitting, stitching, or bonding fibers together. These fibers can be natural, such as cotton, wool, or silk, or synthetic, such as polyester or nylon. The weaving of fibers creates a network that gives the fabric its properties, such as strength, softness, breathability, and elasticity. There are countless varieties of fabrics, each with its own unique characteristics and uses.
Maintenance Instructions:
- MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
- PVC: For its maintenance, use a soft cloth or sponge lightly soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Gently wipe the cloth over the surface of the PVC, cleaning the area with light pressure. Avoid using strong solvents or chemicals as they may cause damage.
- Fabric: The maintenance of fabric depends on various factors such as the type of fiber, fabric construction, and its use. Use a mild detergent that is suitable for the type of fabric. Avoid using bleach or whitening agents, as they can damage the fibers.
