- Metal: For indoor metal furniture, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is recommended. For outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply a protective cream available at commercial stores.
- If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, take extra care to keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers and, if possible, store it indoors during the winter.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
