Material Information:

• MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. Its production involves gluing wood fibers with resins and compressing them with specialized heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and more durable. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity for the furniture. Besides these properties, metal may have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Maintenance Instructions:

• MDF: To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, thoroughly dry the surface with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is essential to protect it from humidity. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
• Metal: For any indoor metal, regular dusting or wiping with a damp cloth is recommended. However, if the metal furniture is for outdoor use, follow these steps:
  1. For prolonged protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which can be easily purchased from stores.
  2. If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
  3. If your metal furniture is not electrostatically painted, take extra care to keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers, and during winter, store them indoors if possible.
  4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
