This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through ArgosTheClassics.com by private consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade, business, or profession).
This policy complies with applicable Cyprus Consumer Protection Law and EU legislation governing distance contracts (online sales).
2. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you purchase products from our website as a private consumer, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without providing any reason.
Withdrawal Period
The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from:
The day you (or a third party nominated by you, other than the carrier) receive the goods.
If your order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the 14-day period begins from the date of receipt of the last item.
How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear written statement (email or letter).
You may use a withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
3. Returning the Goods
After notifying us of your withdrawal:
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us.
The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period expires.
Condition of Returned Goods
You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish:
The nature of the goods
Their characteristics
Their functioning
Items should be returned in original condition and packaging where reasonably possible.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise agreed, the direct cost of returning goods is borne by the consumer.
For large or bulky furniture items, return shipping arrangements and costs may vary depending on the product and delivery location.
4. Refunds
Upon valid withdrawal:
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us).
Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days from:
The day we receive the returned goods; or
The day you provide proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return.
5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (custom-made furniture, special finishes, bespoke dimensions).
Sealed goods not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery.
Goods which, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items.
Where a product falls under an exception, this will be indicated at the time of purchase where applicable.
6. Faulty, Damaged, or Non-Conforming Goods
Separate from the 14-day withdrawal right, consumers have statutory rights under Cyprus law if goods are:
