What is an interior design consultation?
An interior design consultation is a working session where a designer looks at your space, listens to how you want to live or work in it, and gives you a clear direction before you spend money. At Argos The Classics, consultations are led by our founder and interior designer, Angela Hadjiconstantinou. She studied interior design in Florence and has worked on five-star hotel projects, restaurants, cafés and Airbnb homes in Cyprus and the United States.
The point is to make decisions in the right order. Layout first, then materials and colours, then lighting, then furniture and décor. Most rooms that feel wrong were furnished the other way round: a sofa bought because it looked good online, then a room built around it. A consultation stops that from happening, whether you are furnishing a new apartment in Larnaca or rethinking a family home in Nicosia.
What is included in a consultation?
Every space is different, but a consultation with Argos The Classics can include:
- Design concepts and moodboards that show the look, palette and materials before anything is ordered.
- Space planning and furniture layout, so circulation, storage and seating work in the actual room.
- Material, colour and lighting recommendations suited to Cyprus light, heat and tiled floors.
- Coordination between architecture, furniture and décor, so the finished space reads as one idea.
- Sourcing of furniture and décor at B2B or retail rates.

Can I book a one-time consultation, or do I need a full project?
Both are possible. A one-time consultation suits people who want a professional opinion and a plan they can carry out themselves: which wall the sofa goes on, what colour to paint, which dining table size fits, how to light a dark corridor. You leave with clear recommendations and buy at your own pace.
A full project goes from concept to completion. We develop the design, select and source furniture and décor, and coordinate delivery and installation, so you are not chasing several suppliers at once. This suits new builds, renovations, holiday homes and investment apartments, especially when the owner lives abroad.

Where do you offer interior design consultations in Cyprus?
We offer on-site consultations in Larnaca, Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos and Paralimni, and also in Protaras and Ayia Napa. Seeing a space in person helps with light, proportions and the details that photos miss, such as a low beam or an awkwardly placed radiator.
For clients abroad, we work remotely. This suits owners of holiday homes and Airbnb apartments in Cyprus who live off the island. Furniture is delivered across the Republic of Cyprus, typically within 15 to 20 days of purchase, with longer lead times for some made-to-order items. The details are on our delivery and collection page.
