For outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:For longer protection, apply a protective cream available in commercial stores. If your furniture is treated with powder coating (electrostatic paint), it is highly durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. If not powder-coated, take extra care to keep it away from water and moisture. You can use protective covers, and during winter, store it indoors if possible. If rust appears, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before repainting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
