• Tempered glass – Safety glass: Tempered glass, also known as toughened or thermally processed glass, is a type of safety glass that has undergone special treatment to increase its strength compared to ordinary glass. The thermal processing involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it. This creates a compression stress on the surface of the glass and a tensile stress inside, making it more resistant to impacts, thermal shocks, and scratches. It is about 5 times more impact-resistant than ordinary glass. • Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
  1. For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture.
  2. If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
  3. If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
  4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
