Furniture delivery in Cyprus with Argos The Classics normally takes 15–20 days from purchase and covers the whole Republic of Cyprus: Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta area. The delivery cost is calculated at checkout from your address and the size of your order, so you see it before you pay. Made-to-order pieces can take longer, and the product page tells you when that is the case.
Short answer: plan for 15–20 days, check the delivery cost at checkout, measure your doors, lift and stairs before you order, and make sure someone is home on the day.
A sofa that does not fit through the door is not a delivery problem. It is a measuring problem. This guide covers what we do, what you can do, and what changes from city to city. If you are still choosing, start with our sofas, and keep our delivery and collection page open for the full terms.
How long does furniture delivery take in Cyprus?
Most orders arrive 15–20 days after purchase. That window covers getting your items ready, packed and onto a route that reaches your area.
Some pieces are made to order, and those take longer. I would rather you know that before you buy than after, so the longer time is shown on the product page. If you need furniture by a specific date, for a move, a rental going live or guests arriving, check every item in your basket, not just the big one. If you want everything to arrive together, the slowest item sets the pace.
How much does furniture delivery cost in Cyprus?
The cost depends on your address and the size of your order, and it is calculated at checkout before you pay. There is no single price because a table lamp and a corner sofa are not the same job.
A few things worth knowing at the same stage:
- Assembly is available on eligible items. You add it at checkout and the cost is shown before you pay.
- Payment is by secure card through JCC, and prices in euro include VAT.
- One order is usually simpler than five. If you are furnishing a whole room, our furniture packages keep things together.
Where in Cyprus do you deliver, and can I collect instead?
We deliver across the Republic of Cyprus, including Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta area. We do not deliver to the north.
If you prefer to collect, there is a free collection point in Larnaca at Stadiou 84, Office 202, Larnaca 6020. Collection is by arrangement, so message us on WhatsApp first and we will agree a time. It is a collection point, not a showroom. We are an online store, and every product page lists dimensions and materials so you can decide before you come. Our guide to furniture shopping in Larnaca explains how it works.
| Option | What happens | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Home delivery | Delivered to your address, cost shown at checkout | Most orders, anywhere in the Republic |
| Delivery with assembly | Added at checkout on eligible items, cost shown before paying | Wardrobes, beds and anything heavy or fiddly |
| Free collection in Larnaca | Stadiou 84, Office 202, arranged on WhatsApp first | Smaller items, if you live nearby and have a suitable car |
| Made-to-order items | Longer than 15–20 days, shown on the product page | Anyone who can plan a few weeks ahead |
How do I prepare my home for a furniture delivery?
Measure the route, not just the room. The furniture has to get from the van to its final spot, and every door, turn and step on the way counts.
- Measure the width and height of the front door, with the door fully open.
- Measure the inside of the lift: width, depth, height and the lift door opening.
- Check stairwells for width, tight turns and low ceilings on the landings.
- Check internal doors and corridor corners on the way to the room.
- Compare those numbers with the dimensions on the product page. If it is close, ask us on WhatsApp before you order.
- Think about parking. Where can a van stop near your entrance?
- Ask your building manager whether there are rules about using the lift for deliveries.
- Clear the path and the spot where the furniture goes. Rugs, plants and the shoe rack by the door included.
- Make sure an adult is home for the whole delivery window.
For a step-by-step method, read how to measure before ordering furniture, or check standard sizes in our size guide.
What should I expect in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos?
The delivery terms are the same everywhere in the Republic. What changes is the type of home, and that changes what you need to check.
Nicosia
You will find everything from apartment blocks with lifts to older houses with narrow internal stairs. In a flat, the lift is the first thing to measure. In an older house, it is the stairs and the doors between rooms.
Limassol
Many people live in apartment buildings, some of them tall and many with building management. Ask about lift use and preferred delivery times before the day, and work out where a van can stop. If you are furnishing a flat to rent out, our guide to furnishing a small apartment or rental will save you time.
Larnaca
Our free collection point is here, so for smaller items, collection by arrangement can be the easiest option. Larger pieces are delivered the same way as anywhere else. If your street is narrow or hard to park on, tell us when we arrange the delivery.
Paphos
There are plenty of houses and villas, and some are holiday homes. If the property is not your main home, make sure someone with keys will be there. Outdoor steps and garden paths are part of the route, so measure them too.
Famagusta area
We deliver to the Famagusta area within the Republic of Cyprus. Same rules: measure the route, plan the parking and make sure someone is home.
What should I check when the furniture arrives?
Check the packages before the delivery team leaves. Count them against your order and look for visible damage to the boxes.
Then unpack soon, not next month. Check each item as you open it, photograph anything that looks wrong, and keep the original packaging until you are sure everything is fine. If you decide to return something, it has to go back in its original condition and packaging.
What if something arrives damaged?
Contact us on WhatsApp promptly, with your order number and clear photos of the item and its packaging. The sooner we know, the easier it is to sort out.
Do not assemble a damaged piece, and do not throw the box away. If you simply change your mind, you have 14 days from receiving your order to withdraw, then up to 14 more days to send the items back in original condition and packaging. Return shipping is normally paid by the customer. The full details are on our returns page.
Mistakes I see all the time
- Measuring the room and forgetting the route. The room is rarely the problem. The front door, the lift and the last turn on the stairs usually are.
- Ordering for a fixed date without checking lead times. One made-to-order item can hold up the rest.
- Booking delivery for the day the painters come. Wet paint, dust sheets and a new sofa do not mix.
- Throwing the packaging away on day one. Keep it until you have checked everything.
- Assuming someone will be home. Confirm it. Then confirm it again.
- Falling for a corner sofa before measuring the lift. Large pieces deserve two minutes with a tape measure first.
- Buying a dining set without counting the boxes. A table and six chairs can arrive as several packages. Clear space for all of them.
Browse the full shop, and if you are not sure something will fit, send me your door, lift and room measurements on WhatsApp at +357 96 592277. We will tell you honestly whether it goes in, before the van turns up. You can also reach us through our contact page, Monday to Friday, 10:00–14:00.
