Material information

• PE Rattan: It is a popular material, imitation of natural rattan, used in the manufacture of furniture and accessories. It is made of polyethylene, which is a durable synthetic polymer resin. It is weather resistant, does not wear out from the sun or rain and does not fade, while being environmentally friendly.
• Tempered glass- Safety glass: Tempered glass, also known as toughened or heat-treated glass, is a type of safety glass that has been specially treated to increase its strength compared to plain glass. The heat treatment process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and rapidly cooling it. This creates a compressive stress on the surface of the glass and a tensile stress on the inside, making it more resistant to impacts, thermal shocks and scratches. It is about 5 times more impact resistant than ordinary glass. An important advantage is that in the event of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt fragments, reducing the risk of serious injury. It is used in tables, desks, TV furniture, etc.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture making, offering a number of advantages over other materials. It is extremely wear-resistant, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity to the furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, the metal may have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial activity (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
• Cushion fabric: Fabric is a versatile material made by weaving, knitting, stitching or bonding fibers. These fibers can be natural, such as cotton, wool or silk, or synthetic, such as polyester or nylon. The weaving of the fibers creates a network that gives the fabric its properties such as strength, softness, breathability and elasticity. There are endless varieties of fabrics, each with their own unique characteristics and uses.

Maintenance instructions

• PE Rattan: It is easy to maintain and clean, requiring simple washing with soap and water.
• Tempered glass: First, use a soft damp cloth and mild detergent or just water. Spread the cloth over the tempered glass and clean it with gentle circular movements. Avoid using excessive pressure and materials that can cause scratches.
• Fabric: The maintenance of fabric depends on several factors, such as the type of fiber, the construction of the fabric and its use. Use a mild detergent that is suitable for the type of fabric. Avoid using bleach or bleach as they can damage the fibers.
• Metal:

1. For longer protection, coat your metal furniture with a protective cream that you can easily get from commercial stores.
2. If your furniture is processed and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting) then it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
3. If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic paint, then you should take extra care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and in the winter put them indoors if you can.
4. If you notice rust, then remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
